New Motorcycles for the Pittsburgh Police

The first 6 of the 30 Harley-Davidson motorcycles bought by the Pittsburgh police just landed on the streets.

These motorcycles, which cost $28,000 each, will be attached with sidecars next month. These bikes are said to be equipped with latest in design and safety technology.

Honda and Yamaha will cut down bike production

Due to diminishing demand in the United States and Europe, where it gets 60% of its products sols, motorcycle producers Honda and Yamaha said that they will cut down production of new medium- and large-sized bikes by around 10 and 20 percent, respectively.

Harley-Davidson profits fall

Easing demand has already manifested its effects on the motorcycle industry, with top producer Harley-Davidson seeing its profits cut back steeply.
